Relatify ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify application that provides customer relationship management, segmentation, and email automation tools for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application.

2. Data We Collect

When you install and use Relatify, we access the following data from your Shopify store through Shopify's official APIs:

• Customer Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, order history, tags, and notes.
• Order Data: Order details, fulfillment status, line items, and shipping information (received via webhooks).
• Checkout Data: Abandoned checkout details including cart contents and customer contact information (received via webhooks).
• Store Information: Your Shopify store domain and basic store details needed for authentication.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to:

• Display customer profiles, order history, and engagement metrics in your dashboard.
• Create and manage customer segments based on purchase behavior and attributes.
• Power email automations such as post-delivery review requests and abandoned cart recovery.
• Generate AI-powered customer insights and store health recommendations.
• Send emails on your behalf through our email service provider (Brevo/Sendinblue).

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored and processed using:

• Cloudflare Workers: Our application runs on Cloudflare's global edge network with enterprise-grade security.
• Supabase: We store automation configurations, pending email queues, and session data in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase.
• Encryption: All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Database connections are encrypted.

We do not store copies of your full customer database. Customer data is primarily read in real-time from Shopify's APIs when you use the app. We only store data necessary for automation processing (pending emails, automation configurations).

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Shopify: For store data access via OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• Brevo (Sendinblue): For sending automated and manual emails on your behalf.
• OpenRouter: For AI-powered customer insights and recommendations (anonymized data only).
• Cloudflare: For application hosting and CDN services.
• Supabase: For database hosting.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as your app is installed and active. When you uninstall Relatify:

• All pending automated emails are cancelled and deleted.
• All automation configurations are removed.
• Your shop record is deactivated and access tokens are revoked.
• Data erasure is completed within 48 hours of receiving Shopify's data erasure webhook.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you or your customers.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data (also handled automatically on app uninstallation).
• Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object: Object to certain data processing activities.

8. Cookies

Relatify uses essential cookies only for session management and authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies are placed.

9. Children's Privacy

Relatify is a business tool designed for Shopify merchants. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will promptly delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Relatify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
